BETHMOUR ROAD UPDATE
Bethmour Road is currently closed between Route 67 in Woodbridge and Pine Brook Crossing in Bethany due to a failed culvert beneath the roadway. The pipe beneath the road has deteriorated to the point that it can no longer safely support vehicle traffic. For the safety of residents, motorists and emergency responders, the road will remain closed while the Towns of Bethany and Woodbridge work together to assess the damage and develop a replacement and repair plan. At this time, the duration of the closure has not yet been determined. We understand this may be inconvenient and appreciate the public’s patience as both towns determine the full scope, cost and timeline for the necessary repairs. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes. Additional updates will be shared as more information becomes available and a repair timeline is established. ~ Carol R. Goldberg
RWS NOTICE
Residential Waste Systems (RWS) has asked that residents please refrain from placing any medical waste with radioactive material in household trash. Radioactive waste can sometimes result from certain medical treatments or medications. For guidance on proper disposal, or if you have any questions, please contact RWS at (203) 334-1660.
